PLI

All our psychics and entertainers are fully covered by public liability insurance. They are very experienced with many years in their profession under their belt. They are chosen for their professional conduct and ability to deal with people from all walks of life in a calm and kind manner.

TABLE COVERINGS AND DECORATIONS

They will provide tablecloths but if you are a hotel or restaurant and able to provide a floor length table covering, that would be a bonus and their own cloth will go on top.

All entertainers bring their own tools and props. This can vary according to the booking and theme, e.g. more skulls and spiders during Halloween.

Photos of each person’s previous set ups can be provided or view the video of various set up here.

TABLES AND CHAIRS

We do not bring our own tables and chairs, we ask that if you wish your entertainer to be seated, you provide a normal height table and at least three chairs so that people can sit together.

Coffee tables and cushions on the floor may look nice and ambient but can be uncomfortable over several hours and not easy to get up from and not enough room for legs. Bear this in mind for your less abled guests too.

If you have booked a roaming entertainer, you do not need to provide tables and chairs but if there is somewhere they can sit during a break, that would be great.

FOOD AND DRINK

We do ask that our entertainers are provided water and soft drinks during the duration of their booking. They may be talking non-stop for several hours and need to keep hydrated. A jug of water or several bottles that they can keep under the table saves breaking from entertaining the guests to queue at a busy bar serving guests.

We do not expect you to feed our entertainers but if you are able to, it is always welcome and appreciated especially on longer bookings and when the entertainer has travelled a fair distance. Our Entertainers agree via their contract not to consume food or alcohol whilst working and only eat during an official break and never in front of guests. Our entertainers also agree not to chew gum or smoke or vape in front of guests.

CHANGING FACIILITIES

Sometimes our entertainers may need somewhere to change into their costume or to touch up makeup and hair etc. A crew room is ideal but if there is only a toilet or an office room, that is fine. Somewhere to leave coats and bags and valuables needs to be considered as having these next to their working area can look unsightly. If there is a floor length table covering, these items can be stored under the table.

SOUND AND VISION

If possible, please put the entertainer in a separate room or quieter part of the venue. Our entertainers need to be able to work without being deafened or needing to shout. Ideally, place them away from live music and do not put under a speaker. If possible, if any nearby speakers can be isolated and turned down or switched off, that would be ideal.  Some of our entertainers can bring portable personal amplifiers, so please let us know if you think there is going to be loud background music and we will remind them to bring something. It is important your guests can hear their readings without the entertainer losing their voice delivering it.

If an entertainer feels they cannot work comfortably with the background noise levels, they may ask if they can be moved to a quieter area and if not, then please just turn the volume down.

Lighting- ambient lighting is lovely and atmospheric but please remember not to go so dark that the entertainer can’t see the detail on their Tarot cards or the lines on the palms. If you need the entertainer to bring a table lamp and extension lead, please let us know, unless you can provide these.

The entertainers can provide battery operated candles for ambience but do not use real lit candles as these are a fire hazard. If you wish to provide lit candles, these are the responsibility of the client and not the entertainer and we recommend these are not left unattended when lit.

SIGNS

Our entertainers do not usually bring signs with them. If you wish there to be signs advertising what they are providing, please organise this.

We have found each client has a different style and requirements regarding signage and it’s also difficult to carry signs on public transport for those entertainers who don’t drive. However, we are happy to ask the entertainer if they do have anything they can provide and please ask for this in good time several days before the date of the booking so they can have time to organise it.
